About New to Atlanta

New to Atlanta helps people who just moved here, or are about to, find where to live, what to do and which new places are worth a visit. We write for two kinds of newcomers: families and couples.

How we pick

We list places we'd send a friend to, not everything on the map. A place marked "Our pick" means someone on our team went and would go back. Every listing shows the date we last checked it.

How we make money

Businesses can pay for a fuller listing, a launch spotlight or a featured spot, and some links earn us a commission. Paid placements never change what we write. More on that here.
