CITY OF DUNWOODY

Dunwoody is a city located 17 miles north of Atlanta in Dekalb County. It began as a small community back in the 1830s but was incorporated on December 1, 2008.  Dunwoody has a prime location at the center of Atlanta’s abundant central perimeter business district and serves as headquarters to many large companies. It’s a perfect bedroom community for local commuters or a long-term resting place for young families.

And as one of Atlanta’s earliest suburbs, the city’s now 50-year-old neighborhoods attract home buyers with spacious, well-built homes, large lots, and an abundance of swim and tennis facilities. In recent years, the addition of condominiums, cluster homes, and urban live/work/play residential options compliment the older neighborhoods and offer diverse lifestyle options within minutes of Atlanta.

Dunwoody residents enjoy a wealth of nearby amenities, including its local restaurant scene, fantastic shopping, entertainment spots, nature parks, and recreation facilities.
